Surprise!!!! Happy 80th Birthday Papa!

SILLY, but, ....TADA!! Hallway!

This is our little hallway and staircase to the two bedrooms that were an addition. Here's Fred making our stairs even and pretty!....Seriously, I mean pretty...keep scrolling down and you'll understand!

Upon ripping out the carpet, this is what we found....awesome craftsmanship huh?!?!? I mean there's a hole in the stairs! What the heck??? AND, crazy, but each stair was actually a different height! I know right?!? CRAZY!!!

So anywho, Fred, again saved the day and ripped them out all together and started over! Then we made the whole hallway and stairs hardwood!

....TADA!!! Our Room!!

So this is Our Room; very peaceful and serene! It's amazing what fresh paint, new carpet and our touch will do!!

This was after completely re-leveling the floor! From where the picture was taken to the corner of the room, there was approx. a 2 and some inches difference! So needless to say it had to be fixed! Cody's dad Fred is the guy behind our level, night's sleep!

This was before...that paint was eeeewwwwy! It had to go!

...TADA!!!! Living Room!!

Oh! Boy! I just absolutely love all that beautiful hardwood and it is original to the house; that old style skinny slat! Just LOVE it! Cody actually did help with the hardwood. Albert refurbished it, but Cody helped stain and seal it. It's beautiful!!

When we bought it, that yucky carpet was just waiting to be ripped out!

....TADA!!! Dining Room!!

This is after and before. We moved the fan light into the living room and hung this Sweet find!!

My Cody did all the light, electrical changes, I was SO impressed! I didn't even know he could do that!

......TADA!!! Bathroom!

Here is our cute little bathroom...and yes that is the stackable washer and dryer you see in the mirror!:) We still have a standing joke, "Hoonneeeyyy, while you're in there, can you fold the socks?"!!! hehehehe!

Soooo, that was end result, middle, and before we owned; much more chic now! But, yes, this our only bathroom with that cute, little pedestal sink and mirror....we really like each other! :)

Okay, so this is the FINISHED, everything brand new, except cabinets, but they are freshly painted with hardware, kitchen!!! As you scroll down you can see the in between, days when I may have cried because I came home to no floor :) and couldn't believe what we were getting ourselves into, and last you will see what we started with before we owned it! ENJOY!!! :)

Okay, so in our overly busy lives of work and our masters' programs, I'm not certain how we've managed to finish this little bungalow, but we have!!!!

We are soooo proud of it and we are just loving the house that we made into our own!

Aaaaannnnnddd, I just have to say how proud I am of my Cody! He and his dad did everything in the house, except refurbishing our original hardwood! They fixed all the quirks and yucky stuff in this oldtown house like crazy electrical outlets , uneven anything and everything, crummy, uneven cabinets and countertops, mold, asbestos, the kitchen subfloor, and honest to goodness everything in between! We've come a looooonnnngggg way!!!!
